They didn’t have to throw a parade for G and me. I thought that was awful nice though. Saying it was for the state fair was a good cover. keeps us humble.

I love the parade welcoming you home. A writer friend of mine wrote about the granite memorial his hometown had displayed in his honor as the local author boy made good. He ended by saying that he didn’t really mind that the granite was fresh gravel on the road into town!!!
